Chandler’s Gambling Corner: Week 4.5 Picks

Welcome back, degenerates. After going 1-3 earlier this week, we are now 10-14-1 and still up $50.14. I am very confident we will bounce back and do better today than we did earlier this week.

Like always, all lines pulled from

Bet #1: Houston to cover the spread (-5) against Indiana for -110 odds. The Rockets have been rolling as of late and I don’t expect that to change at home against the Pacers. The Pacers will be missing Jeremy Lamb, Myles Turner, and Goga Bitadze. Malcolm Brogdon will be pressed to carry the load on offense and guard one of James Harden or Russell Westbrook all night. Unless they go ice cold from the field, the Rockets should cover easily.

Bet #2: Sacramento to cover (+11) in Los Angeles for -115 odds. The Kings have been playing better lately, even with their injury issues I think this line is too big. They also have capable defenders to guard LeBron James and Anthony Davis in Harrison Barnes, Trevor Ariza and Dewayne Dedmon. I do not think the Kings will win, but I also do not think they will get blown out.

Bet #3: Golden State money line against Boston for +255 odds. This pick is more of a gut feeling and taking a chance for the payout. Gordon Hayward is out and the Warriors are as close to full strength as they will be. The Celtics are also due for a loss and the Warriors matchup decent with them.

Bet #4: Parlay #2 of the week: Golden State to cover the spread (+7), Houston money line, and Utah money line against Memphis, for a final payout of $379.07. I switched to Golden State covering and the Houston money line for more security, and there is no reason Utah should lose to Memphis.
