Chandler’s Gambling Corner: Week 2 Picks

My wallet isn’t too happy after the week one picks; there were a lot of crazy scenarios that resulted in losses. The only bet that won is the Pistons covering the spread, too bad I dropped that bet when I saw Blake Griffin was not playing. Toronto’s team under did not hit because the game went into overtime, that’s tough. Sacramento did not cover the spread, Phoenix has been firing on all cylinders. Half of the parlay of the week hit with the Magic doing their part, but the Bulls blew a 10-point lead with three minutes left in the game and did not cover the spread.

Chandler’s Gambling Corner: Best Bets for October 22-23

The NBA season is finally back. It was a very eventful offseason; we saw superstars change teams, LaVar Ball come out of hiding, and Boban Marjanovic become a movie star. This will begin my series of sharing my bets I like, once or twice a week. Today we will be looking at the first two days of the NBA regular season. Enough chit-chat. Let’s talk money.

Chandler’s Gambling Corner: NBA Southwest Division Over/Under Predictions

The Southwest division has a bet I really like and a lot of very-well placed lines. Houston under Mike D’Antoni has won 55, 65, and 53, respectively in his time in Houston. They have a pretty high-floor. After factoring in the Rockets winning 53 games last year in what was pretty close to a worst-case scenario based on their slow start and injury plagued season, plus other factors discussed below, I am very confident in their over. The other teams all have very-well placed lines. I expect all of them to finish right around them and it might come down to trying to predict who will have the best injury luck.
